The company’s mission is to develop efficient and profitable agricultural businesses that play a central role in the state’s agricultural value chain, aiming to become a trendsetter and major player in Nigeria’s agricultural sector for both local and export markets. Niger Foods focuses on increasing the yields and quality of vegetables, fruits, root crops, grains, pasture, animal feed, and livestock in Nigeria. The company emphasizes reducing post-harvest losses by developing infrastructure and institutions for handling food for export and local consumption, thereby establishing lawful food systems. To achieve its mission, Niger Foods plans to establish modern, state-of-the-art collection, storage, and packing centers (Food Parks). Additionally, the company aims to develop farm estates ranging from 250,000 to 5,000,000 hectares across 25 local governments for primary production, aggregation, processing, conditioned storage, and warehousing of farm produce, with the goal of realizing significant yield and quality improvements.
