Niger State Agricultural Program Inception Meeting Highlights Government Support for Sustainable Agriculture
The inception meeting of Niger State’s new agricultural initiative, held on the 25th– 26th November, brought together key stakeholders to discuss strategies for transforming the state’s agricultural sector. The event was marked by significant participation from both government and agricultural experts, underscoring the importance of collaboration in fostering a sustainable farming ecosystem.
The Honourable Commissioner for Agriculture in Niger State, Hon. Salihu Musa Bawa Bosso, was also present at the meeting, representing the government’s strong commitment to the programme. In his remarks, Hon. Bawa Bosso emphasized the government’s full support for the project, highlighting its potential to drive long-term agricultural growth and ensure food security for the state’s growing population.
